About

MVVN is an indie rock band from central Texas that combines the sounds of rock, funk, and disco to create songs you can’t help but dance to.

Comprised of Alan Aguilar (vocals/guitar) and Aaron Nichols (bass), the band was formed at the end of 2021. The two met while attending Texas A&M University, where they played together as part of several projects throughout their college careers. This created a very strong connection between the two, which manifests in their musical chemistry today.

The band released their first single ‘Say it Back’ in March of 2022. A dancy, harmony-filled song about knowing when to let go, this song opened the doors to start playing venues all around the state of Texas and they have been playing shows in the Austin area since. The band draws inspiration from bands such as Two Door Cinema Club, Surf Curse, Roosevelt, and Parcels.
